| TF spring and shocker kit | ||
|
After extensive testing and development both on road and track Mike has designed two spring and shocker kits that will suit most drivers. Both kits will produce a superior ride to the stock set up reducing the 'choppyness' often associated with the TF suspension. The two kits are colour coded, Blue for road use or Red for a more sporting road and track requirement. The design of the spring and adjustable damper are such that they work together allowing a more compliant spring with better damper rating than the stock set up (rather than excessively stiff spring rates and poor damper performance). The variable adjustment of the damper is crucial to allow varying load and driver requirements putting this design in front of fixed rate dampers currently available. The springs are precision made with ground ends to give precise location and performance in use. We can also produce dampers with an adjustable height spring platform if required although we consider this requirement would only suit specific track use as the choice of springs we have developed negate this requirement for most users. |

| Not one for leaving well enough alone Mike has taken the opportunity this year to re-tool the hoops unique design in a larger 2" diameter section giving the hoops a more substantial look and indeed offering an increase in strength. | ||

One point to note is that the access to the engine, fitting of the hood cover and hardtop all still fit and function without any restrictions. The hoops are mounted in a substantial structural steel box section sub-frame which is unique in the way it is designed to bolt into the car's chassis without drilling. | |

The range offers hoops in black, silver finish, chrome or an option in body colour. Three basic variants are available Design 1 is the original Boxer Mk.1 and has a small windbreak with mesh to each hoop, the option with this hoop is a neoprene moulded pad to the front of the hoop which is covered in leather to the colour of your choice. Boxer 2 is for those who don't want a windbreak and are plain hoops that has a choice of finishes. Boxer 3Has the twin hoop design and a fold down safety glass windbreak screen the full width of the hoops, again available in a variety of finishes. | SSK IV | |

Yes we now have available our new version of the ever popular SSK ( Slick Shift gear change Kit). The new SSK IV is manufactured in-house on our own jigs and fixtures to ensure accurate and precision assembly and now with revised components to give an improved gear change. Some components have been upgraded for competition use and will withstand even the roughest of use. We have made the gear lever out of brushed stainless steel to improve the looks and strength, this could be polished for a chrome effect. The new SSK IV comes with a unconditional parts replacement warranty if fitted at our workshops. The SSK IV comprises a complete replacement gear lever assembly and a gearbox bell crank assembly with 4 new sealed rose joints for the cable ends. Spare rose joints are £7.50 each and can be bought separately for spares although this part has been tested for a 1,000,000 cycle life without showing any significant signs of wear or breakage. Although we have not had a price increase for this part since it was first developed due to raw material price increases and improved parts specifications we have had to increase the price to £195.00 plus vat (£229.12) We feel this still represents excellent value for money when compared to similar products on the market. |
